globochem:

sometime, hopefully soon, i will figure out why a jingle to a commercial i have not seen in about 20 years has been stuck in my head for days.  maybe there’s a new track in my itunes or something else melodically that recently triggered it. whatever it is, until i figure it out - fuck this commercial.

in the last few days, i’ve found it running through my head moments of silence at work, and it’s a bit unnerving to say the least. i know it could be worse. it could be a lot fucking worse. (ok, nevermind what i said. i’ll take sweet valley board game jingle over having a radio in the department again)

but i’m pretty sure i played the board game more than i ever read those books.

YES. i know xq has my back on this one. haven’t heard the song in 20 years and yet it’s just like it was yesterday.

“jessica, you stole my boyfriend!”

“just like in the book!” *shrug*

Herman Cain Produces Best/Worst Campaign Ad Ever

Here’s a brand new Herman Cain campaign ad, sure to be pulled from YouTube any minute now, starring his chief of staff, Mark Block, who is, we’re guessing, drunk. (As is, apparently, the guy who filmed this on what we’re assuming is an iPhone.) But, really, the horrible panning and cheap tilt-shift filter are nothing compared to what happens at the 40-second mark. Just trust us on this one, okay? We told you the guy was stupid! [via @pourmecoffee]

What did I just watch?

Between this, the Pokemon thing, “Imagine eating pizza,”  and that his tax plan is from Sim City…. well… Herman Cain might be the candidate I’ve always been waiting for.

This normally isn’t my type of reblog, but damn do I have a soft spot for Americanized Europop hits.

I need a full-length mp3 of this song immediately.
